Yes, I do requests, just shoot me a note (nothing raunchy, please); I also do commissions (check out my journal for details). All I ask is that I'm given enough time to create the picture to my standards of perfection (or as close to it as I can get), which can be days or weeks depending on my workload at the office. And please be sure to let me know how you want it drawn (marker, pen, pencil, crayon, computer, etc...)! Don't be shy; all requests and commissions are drawn and posted in the order they're received (with commissions taking priority, obviously)! :meow:

Currently fulfilling commissions for:
:iconmcskatcat: - first 3 commissions completed; fourth commission in first stages

For the music lovers, feel free to check out my YouTube page: www.youtube.com/user/ReafsReal… (be kind, I've only just started ^^;).

Please note the website below is in desperate need of an update; my main computer has been in storage for years now.... :(
Interests

I hate doing this, I really, really, do....

To start with, it has been VERY lousy for me the past six weeks.  My workload doubled but my pay didn't, my car was giving me one problem after another (dead headlight, then dead battery, then clutch problems, etc...), the friend I'm staying with still can't find a job (and I'm paying her bills because she can't afford to), and the house cleaning I was supposed to be doing instead of paying rent is... well, it's been three years, and the house is STILL not clean, although now it looks more like a normal messy house.

Then Murphy's Law kicked in.  I'm now on a pay freeze, my car is officially dead (it's never a good sign when my mechanic isn't even talking about fixing the car up and reselling it, but rather seriously discussing taking it to the dump and getting the scrap metal value for it), my friend is still unemployed, and her basement flooded...three times.  Does anyone have a wall I can bang my head against?

Now, there are some good things that came up.  My mechanic is awesome enough to have a new(er) car ready for me (10 years old, only 50,000 miles on it, for $3,600), and he's holding it for me until I can pay him at the end of the month [dances].  My friend has (reluctantly) agreed to give me a hand at the office this summer to at least add commission money to both our pockets (because something is better than nothing), which will also give her something RECENT on her resume.  My friend's aunt and uncle will be paying the $21,000 for the basement repairs (and gosh darn it all, it's only fair to pay them back for such a huge amount, right?!). The basement repair guy is nice enough to be coming over (for pizza and soda) with his brothers next weekend to help clear out the basement (which makes junkyards look clean--add water damage and mold, and it is VILE) before they get to work on the repairs, and I do mean CLEAR OUT; as much as it pains her, my friend can't argue, and that will give us MUCH needed space to properly clean the rest of the house.

"Blessing in disguise"?  It will be... even if I have to MAKE it one.

So now it comes to the bit that I hate: asking for help.  I really, really hate asking for help, because I'm that person determined to do anything and everything I can before I even consider it.  However, unless my friend and I change our diets to a strict Ramen noodle and water regiment, our wallets (or mine, I should say) are going to be strapped.  So, where does the help come in?

I've got plenty of paint that is still good, I've got regular and colored pencils, I've got charcoal, I've got colored ink, and I've got pens.  I've got paper, I've got canvas, I've got treated planks, I've got wooden boxes and similar.  And, as I'm sure some people have noticed, I have no problems with doing something for someone else.  So, as much as it hurts me to have to do this, I'm asking for commissions--the difference between the commissions and the requests is that the one paying the commision gets the original art pieced mailed to them at no additional charge.  I prefer to work through PayPal, as it's a convenient and safe way to swap payments and addresses; I remember seeing somewhere that DeviantArt's got something for commissions too, but someone's going to have to explain to me how that works (believe it or not, I'm not particularly tech-savvy).

Drawing prices for small paper (11"x8") will be as follows: pencil $20, colored pencil or charcoal $25, pen (B&W) $30, ink paintings $35.  If combined mediums are desired, a price will be negotiated.

Drawing prices on large paper (3'x2') will be as follows: pencil $60, colored pencil or charcoal $65, pen (B&W) $70, ink paintings $75.  If combined mediums are desired, a price will be negotiated.

Paint on canvas, treated planks, or painted boxes will be negotiable; I've never sold those for profit before, and my stash of them is rather random.  I'm going to cross my fingers and hope anyone willing to pay commissions for those is willing to help me figure out a fair price.

I've only four rules:
1.  I will not do copyrighted characters.  Original fan characters are fine.
2.  I will not do anything lewd (kissing and artful-nudes-that-show-no-naughty-bits are my limit).
3.  I will not do computer commissions; that seems to me unfair, as I cannot mail the original hard-drive.
    -  I will, however, do a request/commission if desired, where the request is done with computer and the commission is finished in a different medium.
4.  I will retain the right to post pictures of the finished commission on DeviantArt.

If you've any questions at all, feel free to post a comment on this journal entry.  Commissions can be as strict or lenient as the one paying for it wants.
